So here we are at the beginning of November. Boat is coming out of the water Sunday and off to North Carolina on Thursday to chase Albies. What a year it’s been in Long Island Sound. So many great clients and so many memorable trips. The year brought the biggest light tackle Stripers ever in the boat. Two fish over 50 lbs. One ate a Bluefish, that was being reeled in, that we caught on 15lb test. The other was a topwater fish that ate a 1oz chrome jig on the ladies first cast ‘ever’ in her life. No kidding the first time she had ever casted a fishing pole. Also had one fellow set a record for most fish caught in a day. He caught over 100 Stripers, 20 Bluefish, multiple herring a huge Albie all in one short trip. Caught but didn’t land a Thresher Shark inside Long Island Sound near The Race…a first for my boat. Fished so many wonderful repeat clients and it’s so great to see so many known and friendly faces. Really can’t wait to get after it again next spring. See all of you in a few short but cold months. Best to all and thanks for another wonderful year!!!!! Capt. Peter
