I fished Kyle with from Manchester, CT for a half day flood tide. As we left the dock, Kyle predicted, somewhat tounge in cheek, that we’d get 40 fish in the afternoon flood tide. No sooner did we get out of the marina than we found fish. Stripers and Bluefish in a feeding frenzie that lasted all afternoon. We had to cut our trip short by an hour because of weather with thunderstorms looming, but wouldn’t you know we got exactly 40 fish in three hours. He’s a good fishermen and can cast a mile, but still, 40 big Bluefish and Stripers to 30” in three hours (including leaving the dock and getting back before the weather set in) has to be some sort of 1 man record. What a fantastic day it turned out to be. Plenty of Bonito around too and False Albacore should be here any hour now. Let’s go fishing!!
