Aug 5. Fished a really nice father and son team, John and Will, from Lake Champlain. We were all treated to a really exceptional day. Be sure to look at the video of Mackerel ‘boiling the ocean’ chasing small bay anchovies. What a thrill. We caught these fish one after another for over an hour. We were actually hearing the fish erupt before we saw them. Other than this we caught topwater Stripers and Bluefish pretty much all day long. Couldn’t have had a nicer group or better fishing. August has really turned on !!
