August 6. Fished 3/4 day with grandfather (Micheal), father (Kevin) and son (Tommy). Timed the trip so we were in a good/great tide for all 6 hours. Timing and fishing were both great. First cast of the day young Tommy caught a gorgeous Striper….and on birds that he had spotted himself. Second spot Kevin landed the biggest bluefish I’ve ever had on the boat. “The Beast” I’m guessing I’m the 20-25lb range and took two of us to hold him to get the picture. From there we picked our way up the rip landing fish all along the way. Were treated the last 2.5 hours with big Stripers and nice size bluefish on a rip where it was a fish every cast. Just in this spot we had 3 triples on Bluefish and the same on Stripers. When I write that fishing couldn’t have been better that’s not even a tiny exaggeration. This 3 generation crew is a repeat client from their vacation last year and once again their timing was perfect. Looking forward to this team returning soon.
