Fished two half days with a good fisherman Bob who’s staying locally in New London for a couple weeks. First trip was in pea soup fog. Had to Radar our way all day to each spot. Ended the day with 50 plus Bluefish, a couple of 26” Stripers and hooked but didn’t land a couple of giant Stripers. On this trip he had a fish every other cast. Our second trip was in crazy high wind. Only boated three fish all day. Still had a ball with Bob. He’ll be back in late September to blast some False Albacore with me. All the fish were caught on 1oz jigs with 5” soft plastics.
